Little Update :)

I know i've been MIA lately, but i'm working on a project for another blog :)

Two weeks ago I started the Dukan diet, and i've been focusing on finding recipes.
I lost 5 pounds, but i need to lose at least 5 more. It's not easy but i hope it's worth it.

I'm also working on a HUGE cross stitch project, a growth chart. Looots of work.

what else? Ten days ago i went to the aquarium (yayyyy). My boy and I both loved it, it was great.
This little guy winked at me ;)

Otters really do sleep hugging each other. So cute <3

Smile, you're on Candid Camera!
I really enjoyed the aquarium. I could have stayed there all day long! We saw penguins and sharks and otters and lots of reptiles (uh I hate snakes....), and we saw cockroaches (uuuh i hate them more than snakes). Lots of fishes and turtles. I don't eat fish at all 'cause i don't like it but it's fun to see :)

Oh and my boy turns 25 on 4 june and I already bought him a gift! I can't wait to see his reaction ;)
I loove him so so much :) maybe we'll go on vacation right after his birthday;)

Max Factor Foundation Review

I bought this Max Factor Miracle Touch Liquid Illusion Foundation like a month ago, maybe more and I've been using this for a while now.
I have to say I'm not a big foundation fan, mostly because I don't feel the need of using it.
My skin is not perfect but I hardly wear a full face make up. And also I've never found the perfect shade and I always felt like "No, you can obviously see i'm wearing foundation!" :((

But i'm always searching for a new one, a better one, the perfect one!

I probably only own two Max Factor's products, and it's because here where I live it's not that cheap! It's not expensive like 30 euros or more like revlon, shiseido or sephora stuff, but a foundation is like 15-20 €...
I found this foundation at 9,90€ and thought "well let see if it's worth a try".

I have the shade n°75 Golden, wich is a little darker than my skin but this foundation blends so easily that you can't see the difference!

First things first.
Name: Max Factor Miracle Touch Liquid Illusion Foundation
Tipe: It's a creamy foundation, like a mousse. A little goes a long way.
Price: 14,50€/18€

Applicator: Sponge. It's not recommended to use this, but it's cool if you wash it like once a week or more.
Weight: you get 11.5g of foundation wich is pretty good and will last long time.

I personally would give this foundation an 8 out of 10. It's creamy and highly blendable. Colour range is quite good, and you can build up the coverage.
My only problem is... i'm allergic-.- not properly allergic, but every time i put it on i got a lot of little bumps on my forhead :(
This is so sad, i have found a good foundation and i can't wear it-.- Damn.

Zig Zag Nail Art

It's Time for Nail AAAArt!
Yesterday I was on pinterest and I found a picture of a beautiful black pink and silver nail design and i decided to make it myself!
But today I couldn't find the picture anymore. And that's what you get being a lazy girl that doesn't pin what she likes. I ended up searching the web for instruction on how to make something similar!

You need:

- Nail polishes and top coat
- Tape
- Scissors
- Patience!!!

You need a lot of time to do this, but it's worth!

OK so first make sure you have clean nails. Decide how many layers you want to make and what colors to use.
Take your base color and paint your nails. I choose white. It took me two coats to have a solid color.
Let your polish dry for at least 12 minutes.

Take your tape and cut triangles out of if. You can make them as big or as little as you want. Then start putting tape on your nails, covering up 1\3 of the nail.
Paint your nails with your second colour. I choose light blue. Let the first hand dry for 12 minutes before taking off the tape and moving on to the other hand.
Third layer: cover your nail with the tape and paint on the color. I choose blue.

I'm lazy and goofy and imprecise, so my two layers are uneven, and the zig zag doesn't match. If you have time and willing to make them going the exact same way, do it!

I let my nail polish dry for 15 minutes for the last layer. Then removed the tape.
I Really love the result!
Take a cotton swab and remove the excess and be generous with your top coat!

And you're done!!
This tecnique is so easy and versatile!! I'm def going to use it every once in a while and maybe change the shape of the tape!
